Bianca Looney, ceramicist and designer from Melbourne, juggles all the demands of a new baby with her developing ceramic business. Bianca shares how her ceramic tiling system is being manufactured overseas and what she has learnt along the way.

 

Oliver Smith

Oliver Smith, silversmith and metalworker, makes a range of functional ware which is becoming well known here and overseas. Learn how Oliver developed a relationship with an Australian manufacturer. Bianca and Oliver are both recipients of the 2005 Maker to Manufacture to Market program funded through the Australia Council and are both represented in
Freestyle: New Australian Design for living developed by Object: Australian Centre for Craft and Design.
