Craft Australia Research Centre
Launched the Craft Australia Research Centre on the Craft Australia website for researchers, educators, professionals and craftspeople who have an interest in scholarly articles on contemporary craft and related issues. The Research Centre has been developed as a result of feedback from the Interact online forum requesting greater online access to research papers and prepared articles on Australian contemporary craft practice. We welcome people to submit papers that have been delivered at conferences or relevant forums on the breadth of contemporary craft practice.

Get your free copy of Interact
In 2004 Interact: Contemporary craft in a digital future was launched as a live discussion forum on the Craft Australia website, presenting a series of topical articles on aspects of contemporary craft practice in Australia. Craft Australia has now developed a hardcopy publication that presents the original articles, key discussion points from the forums and Craft Australia’s introduction to the Interact project.

The Interact publication is an essential resource for local, state and institutional libraries. It will be useful to craftspeople, professionals working in the craft sector, collectors of contemporary craft, craft organisations and interested craft audiences.

Free copies of Interact can be collected from the Craft Organisations of Australia.
